Reprap Prusa Mendel Software Downloads

Below is the list of the software we recommend using with your Prusa Mendel 3D Printer . We have provided download links to our hosted versions (tested with our printers and a confirmed 100% working).

We have also provided the software developer links to the the latest versions, however we recommend using our currently tested configuration, at least in the 1st place, until your up and running and comfortable with the software.
Please Note the files directly linked on this page are 32bit versions, if you are running a 64bit version of windows, you will need to download the 64bit version for your architecture from the respective developer links. (ie X86_64, AMD64 etc)

Arduino Development Environment V0.22
Used for uploading firmware to the RAMPS 1.4 Board.

This is an alternative firmware that adds various functionalities, such as “look ahead”, dynamic bed positioning and more functions related to temperature control, it’s still a Beta Version, so be careful.

Used for creating and modifying 3D digital models.

Used for file conversion from Google Sketchup into .STL files, repairing and scaling of your 3D models/designs

OpenSCAD is a software for creating solid 3D CAD objects.
It is free software and available for Linux/UNIX, MS Windows and Mac OS X.

The Repetier-Host is a simple to use host software, which is be compatible with most firmwares around. You can add and position your STL files on the simulated printbed and slice them all together. For slicing you can use the built-in Slic3r slicer or use the well-known Skeinforge.
